The second international medical tourism conference: Pioneering the Future in Global Healthcare took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Leading industry professionals came together to strategically discuss how to further develop global healthcare and increase patient numbers by improving the quality of care and services provided to medical travellers. The conference included presentations by some of healthcare tourism’s most influential leaders.
Discussion topics included a spectrum of services offered though wellness tourism and medical tourism. It was focused on: new medical tourism marketing strategies, the latest trends in wellness and spa tourism, facility development, insurance coverage, hospital quality control and certification, follow up care, legal issues, retirement abroad, business opportunities for travel and tour operators, e-health and telemedicine.
Moreover, valuable was a panel which provided a market analysis to discuss medical procedures that attract travelers and the best countries and facilities to invest in.

Attending the meeting was a great opportunity to set new business contacts, as well as starting cooperation between countries in the scope of medical tourism international projects. To sum up, we are ensured, that with international cooperation and endeavours of all countries, we will create medical tourism giant, where travelling with medical purpose will not be just a fad, but common activity.
World's Leading Travel Trade Show-ITB Berlin
Germany – Berlin
Polishmedic went to Germany to take part in the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show- ITB Berlin.
This was the opportunity for Polishmedic to meet tour operators from all over the world, and establish business relationships with them.
ITB Berlin is the biggest travel show in Europe that presents the great variety of destinations, tour operators, booking systems, carriers and hotels. The most interesting for Polishmedic was hall 16 intended for Wellness and Medical Tourism.
Polishmedic hold business meetings with a few companies, and is looking forward to start cooperation with them in the field of sending foreign patients to polish clinics.

On the last day of the show, Polishmedic attended lectures: Cross – border Healthcare & Medical Tourism and Health Tourism in Europe hosted by Dr. med. Robert Gerl (MBA), Director of German Healthcare Consulting and Coordinator Medical Tourism at Daggendorf University of Applied Sciences.
After the lectures Polishmedic and Dr. med. Robert Gerl came to an agreement that both organizations will benefit from close cooperation.
We are looking forward to next year’s edition of ITB Berlin.
Medical Tourism seminar in Manchester

The Polishmedic Company with Association of Polish Entrepreneurs & Companies UK (APEC-UK) was the organizer of seminar about concerning problems of medical tourism in Poland. Seminar was held in Britain at the stadium of Manchester United. Company representatives at the seminar were Michael Ławiński - President of Board and Arthur Białoszewski - Healthcare Market Specialist. During the trip we were accompanied by partners from the “Plastic Surgery Clinic A. Sankowski” Andrew and Matthew Sankowscy.

The meeting was opened by Mr. Ławiński who welcome numerous guests among whom were representatives of doctors (General Practitioners), local medical facilities, law and financial sector. Then Artur Białoszewski presented information about market structure and the possibility of its development. After the lunch break second part of the seminar began with a discussion of opportunities in the field of plastic surgery. At the conclusion has been presented the opportunity to cooperate with Polishmedic for partners established in Great Britain, which encountered with high response from the audience.
Destination Health Show

Polishmedic is developing dynamically and enters the UK market.
On 15-16th of April we had the opportunity to participate as an exhibitor at Destination Health Show in London, exposing the offer to visitors and our potential patients.

Moreover, presentation of Polishmedic "Poland-your new destination for medical tourism " which became an integral part of the conference gave participants opportunity to familiarize with the idea of Polishmedic as Touroperator of medical travels to our beautiful country.
Additionally, participating on the Destination Health gave an incredible opportunity to establish business relationships with business partners among the British companies, British Polonia and companies from other countries.

On behalf of the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), our employee Ewelina Stokowska-Onwugbufor was invited as speaker and attendee on “Medical Korea 2011- 2nd Global Healthcare & Medical Tourism Conference”.
This the Asia’s largest medical conference was held in Seul, South Korea.

The Conference hosted CHIN, Soo Hee,Minister of Health and Welfare, Bup-Wan Kim, President of KHIDI, as well as many luminaries from Medical Tourism industry from over 40 coutnries.
The Conference gaves a great opportunity to discover new trends world-wide in Medical Tourism and Wellness, know more about health care systems in significant countries and meet new partners from abroad.
